My training with Two Brown Girls caused me to confront my privilege and responsibilities as a white person in ways I had never before considered. I have thought about — and told others about — my session numerous times. I would recommend their programs to anyone looking to have meaningful, substantive conversations about race.

Aja and Nicole conducted a powerful, thought-provoking training that left a lasting impression on the faculty and staff in attendance.

Two Brown Girls led Faith in Public Life staff through a challenging yet compassionate series of workshops and group activities that enabled us to question our own implicit bias and become more proactive internally as well as in our programs and strategic plan. We came out with a series of next steps to help us fully ground all of our work and organizational systems/interactions in anti-racism work. I'm grateful for their boldness, their support and humor as we worked through challenging topics, and their tenacity.

I believe Aja and Nicole represent two powerful voices that are among the new generation of leaders who will help transform the civil rights landscape in DC, in the nation and on the planet.

Aja and Nicole took our mentors on a thought-provoking journey while discussing concepts such as race and privilege and how that plays out in relationships with young people.
